Disneyland

So this summer we drove down to California. We went to Disneyland! That first day Stephanie couldn't quite get out of bed. As you can see while we were waiting in line for the Submarine.

We went with Grandma and Grandpa Hardy. We had a great time on the Jungle Cruise.

Dad and Mom.

Stephanie and Ashley There is a way awesome place in Tomorrowland. It was inventions or something like that. I can't remember what it was called. Me and Steph sang High School Musical's Start of Something New. We rocked it out on stage.

Help!!!! We are in jail. :) Posing with Goofy
Family picture time!
We got to watch a performance in California Adventure that was all the High School Musical 2 songs.
Chilling with Pluto

Mater was in the Play Pixar parade and I just had to have a picture of him.
In front of the Golden Gate Bridge. The miniature one.
They have a garage devoted to Cars and of course I had to get a picture there.
We went to Universal Studios for a day. I don't know who this freck is that is with Dad but he wanted a picture with him...
The boulder was rolling after us. Luckily, we made it out in time.
Here we are staking out the perfect spot for a parade.
Sleeping Beauty's castle
Another picture with Goofy
I love Eeyore. I just had to have a picture with him too. I waited in line with a bunch of little kids and I think I was more excited than them.
Our last night there in front of the Toy Story Mania ride. It was awesome.

I think we all had a great time. If we keep up the tradition. I will be 20 and Steph will be 16 when we go again. :) Crazy!!

David Archuleta

The new craze is American Idol's David Archuleta from Utah. Stephanie has gotten swept up in the excitement and so she dragged my mom around on Friday to meet him. I would have gone but I had an AP test so I couldn't and Dad just doesn't feel the excitement yet.

Mom waiting in line to get David's autograph early in the morning.

Sadly they didn't get his autograph. There were a lot of people there. Even though it was May it's still freezing.

This is the best picture they got of him (and the closest).

Then they went to Murray High School to watch him perform. Still they were far away because they only let the high school students really close.

We are still voting for David and hope he wins!!!

Ashley's First Date

I know everyone wants to see pictures from my first date so here they are....
We went to a Utah Blaze game against the Kansas City Brigade.
The way cool thing is they actually won their first game of the season. Now they are (1-9) but Kansas had only won one game before we played them. So I guess we aren't the worst team :)

I went with Eric and he is probably going to kill me when he finds out I put his picture on here but oh well. :) He is a byu fan, which my Grandpa Aldridge was very happy about.

The other couple we went with was Darille and Ben.

I had a lot of fun and I hope they did too.

Red-and-White Scrimmage

It was the annual red and white scrimmage. The team basically does this to figure out who the 2nd and 3rd string players would be.
Here's some pictures....

While we were watching the game, Steph says, "Isn't that Eric Weddle?" Sure enough it was. He was the coach of the white team. Since Steph could probably be qualified to be his stalker she had to take a picture of him. (He's the one with the hat on)
After they had the team on the field to do autographs and all we wanted was a picture with Eric and we would just leave. Well he disappeared... :( The funny this is as we were leaving, guess who was getting into his car. Yep. He seemed really agitated so we just asked for his autograph. Here's some pics of us wearing the hat...

We also got Morgan Scalley's autograph along with Eric Weddle's. Morgan Scalley was the safety when Utah went to the Fiesta Bowl.

Ashley's Birthday

So I woke up on my birthday which was April 5th and everyone decided to decorate my house. My cousins and aunt came and did all this while I still asleep. :)

These posters say, "Sweet 16" and "Happy Birthday Ashley! 16"

Just so you know... The posters say, "Hey it's great she can finally date!" and "Party Hardy. We love U."

Then I'm just opening my presents.

It was great. It still doesn't feel like I'm 16 yet. Oh well. Maybe when I can drive :)

Ashley's Sweet 16 Party

On Friday April 4th I had an awesome Sweet 16 party. I invited a lot of friends and we had a blast. Of course it was football themed. Here's some pictures...

We had tacos and they were delicious. There was Katelyn, Kelsey, Savannah, Alyssa, and Emily.
And me.

Some more of my friends. Stacie, Ashley (not me), Emily, Janessa, and Cassidy.

We played pictionary (football edition). Ashley trying out her wicked drawing skills.

It was really funny with girls trying to figure out things about football. (Cassidy drawing)

Then we played a game where you were blindfolded, spun around, and then you had to listen to your team tell you where to place the football. Stephanie was listening to her friend Madison.

It was even harder because both teams were yelling at you and you got or lost points by where you put the football. This is Katelyn.

Then we played everyone's favorite game Chubby Bunny.
(Me, Emily, Ashley, Janessa, Cassidy, Katelyn)

If you don't what that is you need help. j/k It's when you see how many of the big marshmallows you can stuff in your mouth without chewing or swallowing. (Kelsey, Savannah, Alyssa)

Then we played a game where you could only step on 2 pieces of "grass" to get across the room.

Everyone had their own way of getting to the other side of the room.

My birthday cake.

Opening all the wonderful presents my friends gave me.

We got a referee for a pinata. It was totally awesome. (Savannah)

It was especially hard with my dad moving it when we tried to swing. (Janessa)

Don't get the wrong idea from this picture!!! The pinata wouldn't break so we stopped using the blind pipe and my dad just let me wack it hard. Ya the PVC pipe broken and the other end went flying and hit my dad. (Don't worry. He's ok. He just has a bruise:)) So I decided since that didn't break it that I would just stab it cause it felt good??? I guess so. Sorry ref.

We really couldn't get it to break. So we had to pull out the real bat. It finally broke.

Then we were planning on watching the "Game Plan" but the advertisement for "Enchanted" came on and we watched "Enchanted" instead.
